Neil Herman covers the infrastructure & systems management software and applications software sectors for Lehman Brothers. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Neil spent almost five years as the senior software analyst at Salomon Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney. He worked in the equity research department at PaineWebber for three years, focusing on enterprise hardware and software companies and has also worked with JC Bradford and as an independent computer consultant.
Neil has been ranked on the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team for the past five years. He was named in the software category in 2003 and in the software infrastructure & systems management category in 2002. He ranked in both the applications software and enterprise software categories in 2001 and the enterprise software and PC software categories in 2000. He was ranked #2 for software earnings forecasting in The Wall Street Journal 2001 All-Star survey, and was ranked fourth in the 2001 Reuters Survey.
