Peter Lynch is a successful American Wall Street stock investor whose record ranks him as one of the best stock-pickers in the world. Lynch is perhaps best known for his work overseeing Fidelity?s Magellan Fund which had $18 million in assets when he assumed control of the fund in 1977. By the time Lynch resigned as a fund manager in 1990, the fund had grown to more than $14 billion in assets with more than 1,000 individual stock positions.
Lynch is currently a research consultant at Fidelity Investments. He has written three texts on investing, including “One Up on Wall Street”, “Beating the Street”, and “Learn to Earn”. Lynch also wrote a series of investment articles for “Worth” magazine.
