Hedrick Smith is a Pulitzer Prize-winning former reporter and editor for The New York Times an Emmy Award-winning producer/correspondent for the PBS show Frontline. He has also authored several books including “The Russians,” “The Power Game,” and “The New Russians.” Smith also runs Hedrick Smith Productions, an independent television production company that creates long-form documentaries and miniseries for PBS. He has covered various topics including the Washington power game and the elegant jazz of Duke Ellington and Dave Brubeck.
