Anne Jackson is an American actress of stage, screen, and television who made her Broadway debut in 1945. She was nominated for the 1956 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for Paddy Chayefsky’s “Middle of the Night”. Jackson’s screen credits include “The Tiger Makes Out”, “The Secret Life of an American Wife”, “The Shining” and many others. She received the OBIE Award for Distinguished Performance in “The Typist” and “The Tiger”. Her many television appearances include Armstrong Circle Theatre, The Philco Television Playhouse, Studio One, “The Untouchables”, “The Defenders”, “Law & Order”, “ER” and more.
