Peter Duchin is a pianist and band leader. He organized the music for President Lyndon Johnson?s inauguration in 1964 and played in clubs around the country. He is the former vice-chairman, and now an honorary member, for the New York State Council on the Arts and also sits on the board of many arts and community boards, including the Spoleto Festival U.S.A. and the World Policy Institute.
