Daphne Joyce Maynard is an American writer who, in addition to her own literary career, is well-known for her relationship with J. D. Salinger. She published her first book, “Looking Back”, at the age of twenty. Her other works include “At Home In The World” and “To Die For”, for which she received widespread commercial acceptance.

Maynard?s other fiction works include “Baby Love”, “Where Love Goes”, and “The Cloud Chamber”. Among her nonfiction works are “Looking Back”, “Domestic Affairs”, and “Internal Combustion”.
