Mark Canton is an American Chairman and CEO of Atmosphere Entertainment MM LLC. Mark has brought more than 300 pictures to the screen in his capacity as studio executive and producer, and created his own production entity, The Canton Company, at Warner Bros. In early 2002 Marc joined Artists Production Group as a partner, Chairman and CEO and in December 2003, he co-launched, Atmosphere Entertainment.
Canton?s first pictures as Canton Company producer was the Warner Bros. Pictures Christmas hit “Jack Frost”, “Get Carter”, and “Red Planet”. During his tenure at the studio, Marc was instrumental in creating the notable “Batman”, “Lethal Weapon” and “National Lampoon’s Vacation” film franchises. Marc also put into production such popular hits as “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”, “Purple Rain”, and “Presumed Innocent”, among others.
