E.J. Dionne, Jr. is an American journalist and political commentator, a long-time op-ed columnist for ‘The Washington Post’, and a University Professor in the Foundations of Democracy and Culture at Georgetown Public Policy Institute.

A frequent critic of the Bush Administration, he generally writes from a liberal political viewpoint.
