Andrew Cockburn is an Irish journalist who has lived in the United States for many years. He has written about the Middle East for the “New York Review of Books” and co-produced the 1991 PBS documentary on Iraq titled “The War We Left Behind”. He is also a regular contributing author for “National Geographic” and “CounterPunch”.

Cockburn?s most recent book is “Rumsfeld: His Rise, Fall, and Catastrophic Legacy”. Hi other books include “Out of the Ashes: The Resurrection of Saddam Hussein”, co-written with Patrick Cockburn, and “The Threat: Inside the Soviet Military Regime”.
