Patrick McCarthy is an American publisher. He is Chairman and Editorial Director of Fairchild Publications, and oversees the editorial content of all publications: “Women’s Wear Daily”, “Jane”, “W”, and “Details” and many business-to-business titles.
In 1994, McCarthy received the Eugenia Sheppard Award for Fashion Journalism. During his tenure “W” magazine has received four National Magazine Award nominations, winning for Photography in 1998.
