Margaret Edson is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American playwright who also teaches kindergarten.

Edson won the 1999 Pulitzer Prize for drama for her play ‘Wit’. At the time she was teaching kindergarten at Centennial Place Elementary School in Atlanta, Georgia, where she still teaches.
