Bill Shore is an American social entrepreneur. As the founder and executive director of Share Our Strength, he heads a national organization working to end childhood hunger in the United States. He is also the chairman of Community Wealth Ventures, Inc., which provides strategic counsel to corporations, foundations and nonprofit organizations interested in creating community wealth.

Shore has served on the senatorial and presidential campaign staffs of U.S. Senator Gary Hart, and as chief of staff for U.S. Senator Robert Kerrey. In 2005, “US News & World Report” selected him as one of America’s Best Leaders.
