James Redford, son of Robert Redford, is the founder of the James Redford Institute for Transplant Awareness (JRI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public about the need for organ and tissue donation. The JRI also made the film “The Kindness of Strangers,” and two others to raise awareness for the need of transplants.
