Daniel Lenihan is an underwater archeologist. He is founder and Chief of the United States National Park Service’s elite Submerged Cultural Resources Unit (SCRU) Team. Over the last 25 years he and his SCRU team have been the subject of endless national media in print and on television.
He has written for popular audiences in many venues, and is a frequent contributor to Natural History. He is co-author, with Gene Hackman, of ?Wake of the Perido Star?, a historical adventure novel set on the sea. He is also author of ?Submerged: Adventures of America’s Most Elite Underwater Team? and co-author of ?Underwater Wonders of the National Parks?.
Lenihan’s second novel, ?Justice for None?, also co-authored with Gene Hackman, was published in 2004.
