Alain Ducasse is a world-renowned French chef. He owns restaurants in some the biggest cities in the world, including Paris, London and Tokyo. Before his New York City restaurant closed, it, along with two of his other restaurants, had three Michelin Stars, the highest ranking.
Ducasse also runs a cooking school for the public and another for chefs. He has written several books, including the ‘Alain Ducasse Culinary Encyclopedia’, and in January 2007 he took the position as chef of the Jules Verne Restaurant located in the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
