David Pottruck is Chairman and CEO of Red Eagle Ventures, Inc., a San Francisco private equity firm. He is also Chairman of Eos Airlines, a new airline focusing on premium traffic across the North Atlantic corridor. Pottruck also serves as a Senior Fellow in the Wharton School of Business Center for Leadership and Change Management. In July of 2004, he resigned after a 20-year career having served as President, CEO and a member of the Board of the Charles Schwab Corporation.

Pottruck received the Anti-Defamation League’s 2000 Torch of Liberty Award. He has also received significant recognition by various national business magazines including “Morningstar” which named him “CEO of 1999”, “Business Week” which named Pottruck one of the top 25 CEOs of 1998, named the “Most Influential Executive” in the entire Mutual Fund industry by “Smart Money”, and one of the “Smartest People on Wall Street” by “Worth”. He co-wrote the book, “Clicks and Mortar: Passion Driven Growth in an Internet Driven World”.
