Judy S. Crabtree, PhD. is a Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health in Washington, D.C. She is the recipient of the 1998 Newkirk High School Alumni Hall of Fame award. During her PhD research, Judy single handedly developed an automated method for double stranded DNA sequencing template isolation. She was instrumental in establishing and teaching a course for incoming graduate and undergraduate students and has led the laboratory section of a National Science Foundation summer institute course for high school teachers held at Tulsa University.
Crabtree has co-authored several scientific papers and abstracts and was the major contributor to a recently published protocol book.
