Steven Lipkin is an Assistant Professor of Biological Chemistry and Medicine at the University of California at Irvine.

Lipkin has worked on the Human Genome Project, and currently is a part of the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at UC Irvine, where he identified a new genetic risk factor for colon cancer.
