Adam Nagourney is an American journalist covering U.S. politics for “The New York Times.”

Nagourney graduated with a B.A. from the State University of New York in 1977. Prior to joining the “Times” in 1996, he worked for the Gannett Westchester Newspaper, the “New York Daily News,” and “USA Today.”
