Maurice Greene is an American sprinter who holds several world records and Olympic medals.
Maurice was the first to ever win both the 100m and 200m at the 1999 World Championships in Seville. He collected his third gold medal of the competition for his efforts on the 4 x 100-meter relay team.
Greene won two gold medals in the 2000 summer Olympics in Sydney, for the 100m and 4x100-meter relay. He holds the current world record for the 60m dash. Greene has run 52 sub-10 second 100 m races during his career, more than any other sprinter in history.
