Terry Semel is an American entrepreneur and business executive. He has been the chairman and CEO of Yahoo! Incorporated since May 2001. Previously, Semel spent 24 years at Warner Brothers, where he served as chairman and co-chief executive officer. Since joining Yahoo!, the firm’s share price has increased 180%.

Semel is on the Board of Directors of Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation, Museum of Television and Radio and the Guggenheim Museum. In 2005, Semel was given the UCLA Medal, that University’s highest honor, and the Yale Legends in Leadership Award. He is also on the Board of Trustees for Emerson College.
