Ron Cowen is an accomplished writer and producer. His first ever play “Summertree” (1971) won a Drama Desk Award and was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. From 2000 to 2005, Cowen was the executive producer and writer of the acclaimed TV series “Queer as Folk.”

Cowen is the youngest member ever elected to the New Dramatists Committee.
