Taylor Hackford is an American film director.

Hackford received an Oscar in 1979 for the short film “Teenage Father” and received two Oscar nominations in 2004 for the Ray Charles biopic “Ray”. Hackford is married to Academy Award winning actress Helen Mirren; they married on his 53rd birthday in the Scottish Highlands. Hackford graduated from USC’s School of Cinema-Television in 1968.
