Wolfgang Petersen is a German film director. He is perhaps best known for the classic World War II submarine warfare film “Das Boot”. Petersen’s has also directed a number of big budget Hollywood pictures including “Enemy Mine”, “In the Line of Fire, “Outbreak” and “Air Force One”.
