Andrew Lloyd Webber, Baron Lloyd-Webber is an English composer of musical theatre.
He has composed 13 musicals, a song cycle, a set of variations, two film scores, and a Latin Requiem Mass. His works include “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Evita”, “Cats”, “The Phantom of the Opera”.
Weber has also accumulated a number of honors, including a knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II in 1992 then followed by a peerage, three Tony Awards, three Grammy Awards, an Oscar, an International Emmy, six Olivier Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and the Kennedy Center Honors in 2006.
