John F. Harris is editor in chief for Politico, a Washington, D.C. based newspaper about politics that launched on January 23, 2007. Harris started working as an intern at The Washington Post in June of 1985. He covered the Clinton White House from 1995 to 2001. Harris is the author of a book on Bill Clinton called The Survivor, and the co-author with Mark Halperin of The Way to Win: Clinton, Bush, Rove and How to Take the White House in 2008. He is a 1985 graduate of Carleton College.
