Alfredo Duran is the Cuban-born vice president and managing director of Miami?s WYHS and the former president of the Veteran’s Association of Brigade 2506, better known as the Veterans of the Bay of Pigs. After being asked to step down as president of the Veteran?s Association, Duran founded the Cuban Committee for Democracy, which works to encourage the reconciliation of the Cuban nation.
