Dominick Dunne is an American writer and investigative journalist, who often focuses on members of high society. After serving in World War II, Dunne directed ‘Playhouse 90’ and became vice president of Four Star Pictures. In 1979, he wrote his first book, ‘The Winners’. His book ‘Justice: A Father’s Account of the Trial of his Daughter’s Killer’, was written after the 1982 murder of his daughter Dominique. Dunne has written more books since and also writes articles for ‘Vanity Fair’. His TV series, ‘Dominick Dunne’s Power, Privilege, and Justice’ on CourtTV, which began in 2002, reviews trials of famous or rich people, including the trials of O.J. Simpson, William Kennedy Smith, and the Menendez brothers.
