Stephen S. Morse is Associate Professor of Clinical Epidemiology, Mailman School of Public Health and Founding Director and Senior Resident Scientist, Center for Public Health Prepardness.

Dr. Morse returned to Columbia after four years in government as program manager for Biodefense at the Defense Advanced Research Projects (DARPA), Department of Defense, where he co-directed the Pathogen Countermeasures program and subsequently directed the Advanced Diagnostics program.
