Tom Cruise is an Academy Award-nominated, Golden Globe award-winning Actor and film producer, considered one of the most successful movie stars in Hollywood and currently the only actor to have six consecutive $100 million plus blockbusters. He began his film career in “Endless Love” (1981) and soon landed his first leading blockbuster role in 1983?s “Risky Business,” which launched a career that has since included many of Hollywood?s top films, all despite his below average height.

Cruise?s early ambition was to become a priest, but in 1990 he renounced his devout Catholic beliefs and embraced The Church Of Scientology, claiming that Scientology teachings had cured him of the dyslexia that had plagued him all of his life. He is now famous for his support of Scientology and distrust of psychiatry.
