Tina Brown is an English journalist, magazine editor, columnist and talk show host, who currently works in the United States. As the editor of “The New Yorker” from 1992 to 1998, she is credited by some with reversing the venerable magazine’s declining fortunes.

Brown first rose to prominence as editor of Tatler in June 1979. She later became editor of “Vanity Fair” and then “The New Yorker.” In recent years, she has hosted a talk show on the CNBC network, written a column for “The Washington Post,” and has written a book on the legacy of Princess Diana.
