Misha Glenny is a British journalist and specialist on Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

Glenny was formerly a correspondent for the BBC, and is the author of “The Rebirth of History: Eastern Europe in the Age of Democracy” (1990), “The Fall of Yugoslavia” (1992), and “The Balkans: Nationalism”, “War and the Great Powers”, 1804-1999 (1999). In 1993 he won a Sony Award for his coverage of the break-up of Yugoslavia for the BBC World Service.
