Patrick Jarreau is DC Bureau Chief for the Paris daily “Le Monde”. From 1975 to 1977, he worked with Agence France Presse. He has been with “Le Monde” since that time, serving as the newspaper’s Political Editor from 1995 to 2001. He arrived in Washington in August, 2001 and has published one book about François Mitterrand and two about Jacques Chirac.
