Felix G. Rohatyn is an American businessman and investment banker and has also served in public service. In 1990, he received The Hundred Year Association of New York’s Gold Medal Award “in recognition of outstanding contributions to the City of New York”. Many credit Rohatyn with saving the city from Bankruptcy when he intervened as a financial advisor in the late 1970’s.

On August 22, 2006, Rohatyn was appointed by Lehman Brothers as a chairman of the international advisory committee. He served as United States Ambassador to France from 1997 to 2000 and is a Commander in the French Legion of Honor. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
