Abraham Abramovsky has been a Professor of Law at Fordham since 1979 and is a contributor for the “New York Law Journal.”
Abraham is the director of Fordham University’s International Criminal Law Center and is familiar with New York State law, police crimes and police brutality, sentencing and all aspects of the prosecutorial and defense cases. Abraham has worked as a consultant on some of the most sensational cases in New York City, including the Abner Louima police brutality trial.
Abramovsky has a B.A. degree from C.U.N.Y. (Queens College); J.D. from S.U.N.Y (Buffalo, NY); J.S.D. from Columbia University.
