Stephanie Mehta is a writer at “Fortune” Magazine covering the telecommunications and media industries.

Mehta joined “Fortune” from “The Wall Street Journal,” where she was an assistant news editor, reporting and editing technology stories.

Mehta joined the “Journal” in 1994 as a staff reporter for the paper’s Enterprise group and was promoted to deputy bureau chief of that group in 1996.

Mehta received a master’s degree in journalism and a bachelor’s degree in English at Northwestern University.
