John Cassidy is an American business journalist. He has been a staff writer at the “New Yorker” for six years, covering economics and finance. Previously he was business editor of the “Sunday Times” (London) and deputy editor of the “New York Post”. Cassidy is author of the highly successful “Dot.con” and also author of “The Greed Cycle: How the Financial System Encouraged Corporations to Go Crazy,” an article published in the “New Yorker” in September 2002.
