Dr. Bernard Wood is a scientist. He has been an Adjunct Senior Scientist at the National Museum of Natural History, for the Smithsonian Institution, and the Director of the Center for the Advanced Study of Human Evolutionary History at George Washington University.
Wood’s research centers on increasing our understanding of human evolutionary history. He has written one of the monographs in the series on the Koobi Fora site, and publishes papers on paleoanthropological topics. He has authored, or co-authored eight books, 145 refereed articles or book chapters, and numerous papers for journals and encyclopedias.
