Dr. Neil Kavey is an Attending Physician at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University. He has been actively involved in sleep research since 1973 and has been the Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center since 1978.
Dr. Kavey is a Diplomate, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (1976) and a Diplomate, American Board of Sleep Medicine (1986). He is also a Member of the Sleep Research Society and the American Sleep Disorders Association where he served as Chairman of the Membership Committee from 1987-1993. He served on the Board of Directors of the American Sleep Disorders Association from 1993 to 1996. He currently serves as Treasurer.
