Robert A. Mintz is a former federal prosecutor and head of the Securities Litigation, Governmental Investigations and White Collar Criminal Defense practice group. He joined the firm in 1998 after serving four years as Assistant Counsel to Governor Thomas H. Kean, and almost nine years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey.
Mintz has successfully represented a number of high profile clients including: defending an Associate Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court against efforts by the Governor and Senate to commence impeachment proceedings; coordinating litigation in the U.S., the U.K., Japan and Spain to recover over $85 million on behalf of one of the world’s leading electronic manufacturers; defending the central figure in the criminal investigation into fraud and corruption in connection with efforts by coalition forces to rebuild Iraq immediately after the fall of Saddam Hussein.
