Lt. Robert E Higgins is a retired New York City firefighter. He is the author of the poem ?Call Of The Guardian?, the story of a firefighter’s view of duty. It was inspired by his experience on September 11th, 2001 and the death of his brother Tim, also a NYC firefighter, on that day.
