Rebecca Saxe is a junior fellow of the Harvard Society of Fellows, having completed her Ph.D. in cognitive science at MIT under Nancy Kanwisher. She studies the neural and psychological basis of social cognition; and especially the development of the social brain. Her research aims both to address the more specific questions about the psychological and neural mechanisms of social cognition, and to use these mechanisms as a window to study the broader questions of the structure of the mind.
