Edsel B. Ford II is the great-grandson of Henry Ford and the son of Henry Ford II. Between 1978 and 1980 Edsel ran Ford Australia. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors and was named President and Chief Operating Officer of Ford Motor Credit in 1991. Edsel was elected a Ford Vice President in 1993. He is very active in charitable and philanthropic organizations in southeastern Michigan.
