Chris Columbus is an American filmmaker. He created and wrote the first episode of the animated series “Galaxy High”, and made his directorial debut with the teen comedy “Adventures in Babysitting”. He had huge success with the first “Home Alone” film starring Macaulay Culkin. His later directorial work includes the first two “Harry Potter” films, “Mrs. Doubtfire”, and “Rent”.
