Yann Martel is a Canadian author best known for the Booker Prize-winning novel “Life of Pi”. “Life of Pi” was chosen for the 2003 edition of CBC Radio’s Canada Reads competition. His upcoming book is about the holocaust and takes place between two talking animals on a man’s dress shirt.
Martel?s other works include “Seven Stories”, “The Facts Behind the Helsinki Roccamatios”, and “We Ate the Children Last”. He has received numerous awards including the Hugh MacLennan Prize for Fiction and Governor General’s Award for Fiction.
