Antonia Eugenia Vardalos is a Golden Globe-nominated actress, Academy Award-nominated screenwriter and producer.
Vardalos, who is of Greek descent, had done many different works but gained almost overnight success with her movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” which she wrote and starred in. In 2004 Vardalos wrote and starred in “Connie and Carla,” which co-starred Toni Collette.
