Dennis Quaid is an American actor. He began to gain notice when he appeared in “Breaking Away” (1979) and earned good reviews for his role in “The Right Stuff” (1983). Quaid performs in both comedic and dramatic roles. He had many starring roles in the mid-to-late 1980s, including his roles in “Enemy Mine” and “Innerspace.” He also achieved acclaim for his portrayal of Jerry Lee Lewis in “Great Balls of Fire!” (1989). Some of Quaid’s more recent film credits include “Traffic” (2000), “Frequency” (2000), “Far From Heaven” (2002), “In Good Company” (2004), and “American Dreamz” (2006).
