Mian Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri is the current Foreign Minister of Pakistan. After the formation of the Peoples Democratic Alliance prior to the 1990 elections, Mian Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri was unanimously elected as the first Secretary General of the PDA. He was appointed Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs in the interim government of Prime Minsiter Mir Balakh Sher Mazari. In the 1997 elections he was elected to the National Assembly from Kasur (NA-106). Currently, he represents NA 140 in the National Assembly. He was the Chairman of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information and Media Development and was also a member of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.
