Gary Ross is an American writer and director. Ross’ fourth screenplay earned Oscar and Writer’s Guild nominations. He wrote the script for the blockbuster hit “Big” (1988) and the original script for “Dave” (1993). After forming his own production company, Larger Than Life Productions, he wrote and directed the comedy-drama “Pleasantville” (1998).
