Howard Fineman is a political journalist who writes for ‘Newsweek’ magazine. He started at the ‘Louisville Courier-Journal’, where he worked for seven years before moving to ‘Newsweek’ in 1980. At ‘Newsweek’ he was a political correspondent, then in 1984 became chief political correspondent and in 1995 became the senior editor. He has traveled with the President, written columns about the Iraq war, the 2004 Presidential election, and the September 11 attacks. He often appears as an expert on ‘Hardball with Chris Matthews’, ‘The News with Brian Williams’, and ‘The Today Show’, among others.
